Armenian Viper

Montivipera raddei est une espèce de serpents de la famille des Viperidae. Répartition Cette espèce se rencontre : dans le sud de l'Arménie ; en Azerbaïdjan au Nakhitchevan ; dans le nord-ouest de l'Iran ; dans le nord-est de la Turquie. Description C'est un serpent venimeux et ovovivipare.

Montivipera raddei also known commonly as the Armenian viper (Hy: «Հայկական գյուրզա») is a species of venomous snake, living in rocky habitats in and around Armenia. Known also by local names, it belongs to the subfamily Viperinae of the family Viperidae. The species is native to the Armenian Highlands, including the countries Armenia, southeastern Turkey, northern Iraq, and the northern Zagros Mountains in northwestern Iran.

La víbora zizag de montaña o víbora iraní de montaña (Vipera albicornuta)​ es una especie de víbora endémica de Irán. ​ A la fecha (2006) no se reconocen subespecies. ​ Descripción La víbora crece hasta una longitud máxima de 66 cm.
