Motacilla yarrellii

La Bergeronnette de Yarrell (Motacilla alba yarrellii) est une sous-espèce de la bergeronnette grise (Motacilla alba), espèce d'oiseau appartenant à la famille des Motacillidae. Elle est propre à la Grande-Bretagne et à l'Irlande et d'une manière plus marginale dans les pays voisins (notamment en France) où elle est surtout migratrice et hivernante. Description Comparée à la bergeronnette grise, elle a le dos plus foncé, plutôt noir que gris.

The white wagtail (Motacilla alba) is a small passerine bird in the family Motacillidae, which also includes pipits and longclaws. The species breeds in the Palearctic zone in most of Europe and Asia and parts of North Africa; it also has a toehold in western Alaska as a scarce breeder. It is resident in the mildest parts of its range, but otherwise migrates to Africa.
