Myrmica vandeli is an ant species found sporadically across several European countries (Austria, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Great Britain, Poland, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Slovakia, western Ukraine, and the former Yugoslavia). It often coexists with M. scabrinodis.
