Napaea beltiana

Napaea beltiana est une espèce d'insectes lépidoptères (papillons) appartenant à la famille des Riodinidae, à la sous-famille des Riodininae et au genre Napaea. Dénomination Napaea beltiana a été décrit par Henry Walter Bates en 1867 sous le nom de Cremna beltiana. Sous-espèces Napaea beltiana beltiana Napaea beltiana aza (Druce, 1904) ; présent en Colombie.

Napaea is a genus in the butterfly family Riodinidae present only in the Neotropical realm. Napaea contains strong butterflies with a robust body. The margin of the forewings is not projecting so far, the apex not so very falcate (sickle shaped), the costal of the forewing is not connected with the subcostal.
