Neomys fodiens, appelé Crossope aquatique, ou Crossope, Musaraigne d'eau, Musaraigne aquatique, Musaraigne ciliée ou encore Musaraigne porte-rame, est une espèce de mammifère insectivore de la famille des Soricidae. C'est la plus grosse et la plus remarquable des musaraignes d'Europe. Elle mène une vie semi-aquatique dans les fleuves et les ruisseaux.
The Eurasian water shrew (Neomys fodiens), known in the United Kingdom as the water shrew, is a relatively large shrew, up to 10 cm (4 in) long, with a tail up to three-quarters as long again. It has short, dark fur, often with a few white tufts, a white belly, and a few stiff hairs around the feet and tail. It lives close to fresh water, hunting aquatic prey in the water and invertebrates nearby.
El musgaño patiblanco (Neomys fodiens) es una especie de mamífero soricomorfo de la familia Soricidae. Descripción Al ser un animal semiacuático, presenta una serie de adaptaciones morfológicas a la natación (tercio posterior del cuerpo ancho, pies relativamente grandes, pelos rígidos en manos y pies). Tiene glándulas salivares con una sustancia ligeramente narcótica.
