Nicrophorus vespilloides is a burying beetle described by Johann Friedrich Wilhelm Herbst in 1783. The beetles vary widely in size and can present with a range of anywhere from 12 mm to 20 mm in size. They have two conspicuous orange-yellow bands on the elytra.
Nicrophorus vespilloides es una especie de escarabajo enterrador de la familia de los sílfidos, descrito por Johann Friedrich Wilhelm Herbst en 1783. Los escarabajos varían ampliamente en tamaño y pueden presentarse con un rango de tamaño de 12 mm a 20 mm. Tienen dos llamativas bandas de color amarillo anaranjado en los élitros.
