Notiophilus rufipes

Notiophilus rufipes est une espèce d'insectes de l'ordre des coléoptères, de la famille des Carabidae. En Europe, il est devenu très rare (dont en France et Belgique) (disparu ?) dans les forêts gérées et exploitées, et mieux conservé dans les forêts anciennes et non gérées.

Notiophilus rufipes, the rufus-legged big-eyed beetle, is a species of ground beetle native to the Palearctic and the Near East. It is an introduced species in the United States, where it has been recorded from Georgia. Its habitat consists of mixed forests, where it may be found at the forest edges, as well as in vine and fruit tree orchards.

Notiophilus rufipes es una especie de escarabajo del género Notiophilus, familia Carabidae. ​ Fue descrita científicamente por Curtis en 1829. ​ Esta especie es originaria del Paleártico y el Cercano Oriente.
