Opsiphanes invirae est une espèce d'insectes lépidoptères (papillons) qui appartient à la famille des nymphalidés et au genre Opsiphanes. Dénomination Opsiphanes invirae a été décrit par Jakob Hübner en 1808 sous le nom initial de Potamis superba invirae. Sous-espèces Opsiphanes invirae invirae ; présent au Brésil Opsiphanes invirae aequatorialis Stichel, 1902 ; présent en Équateur.

Opsiphanes cassina, the split-banded owlet, is a species of butterfly belonging to the family Nymphalidae. As of January 2023, revision by Piovesan et al. 2023, suggests the species should be a junior synonym of Opsiphanes invirae (Hübner, [1808]), and the various former subspecies placed in other combinations or as synonyms.
