Melanotrichus boydi (syn. Orthotylus boydi) is a species of plant bug in the family Miridae. It is notable as the only insect that is known to feed exclusively on a plant which hyperaccumulates nickel, specifically the milkwort jewelflower Streptanthus polygaloides.
