Polynesian Ground Dove

La Gallicolombe érythroptère (Pampusana erythroptera) est une espèce d'oiseaux appartenant à la famille des Columbidae. Selon la classification de référence du Congrès ornithologique international (version 15. 1, 2025), c'est une espèce monotypique (non subdivisée en sous-espèces).

The Polynesian ground dove or Society Islands ground dove (Pampusana erythroptera) or Tutururu is a critically endangered species of bird in the family Columbidae. Originally endemic to the Society Islands and Tuamotus in French Polynesia, it has now been extirpated from most of its former range by habitat loss and predation by introduced species such as cats and rats, and the species is now endemic only in the Acteon islands. The total population is estimated to be around 100-120 birds.

La paloma perdiz de Tuamotu (Pampusana erythroptera)​ es una especie de ave columbiforme de la familia Columbidae endémica de las Tuamotu, de la Polinesia Francesa. Es un ave en peligro crítico de extinción cuya presencia solo se ha registrado actualmente en los atolones de Matureivavao, Rangiroa, Tenararo, Morane, Vahanga y quizás Tikehau. Su hábitat natural es el bosque tropical, especialmente con Pandanus tectorius, Pisonia grandis y matorrales, pero también se ha detectado en las zonas de matorral denso que crecen bajo los cocoteros.
