Papilio himeros

Papilio himeros est une espèce de lépidoptères (papillons) de la famille des Papilionidae. Cette espèce est endémique du Brésil. Systématique L'espèce Papilio himeros a été décrite pour la première fois en 1865 (ou 1866 selon les sources) par l'entomologiste Carl Heinrich Hopffer dans la revue Stettiner entomologische Zeitung.

Papilio himeros is a species of butterfly in the family Papilionidae. It is found in Argentina and Brazil. Description Both wings with yellow band (which is broader in the male than in the female); tail with yellow apical spot; submarginal spots of the hindwing in the male yellow, in the female red except the 2 anterior ones.
