Nomion Apollo

Parnassius nomion est une espèce d'insectes lépidoptères de la famille des Papilionidae, de la sous-famille des Parnassiinae et du genre Parnassius. Dénomination Parnassius nomion a été décrit par Fischer de Waldheim en 1823. Sous-espèces Parnassius nomion nomion Parnassius nomion aurora O.

Parnassius nomion, the Nomion Apollo, is a forest steppe butterfly which is found in the Urals, Altai, south Siberia, Amur and the Ussuri region, Mongolia, China and Korea. It is a member of the snow Apollo genus (Parnassius) of the swallowtail family (Papilionidae). Populations vary throughout its range and there are very many described subspecies.
