Liz Howe (27 October 1959 - 31 March 2019) was a British ecologist and herpetologist. She is best known as one of the coordinators of a comprehensive field survey of the natural habitats of Wales, published in 2010. Early life and education She was born Elizabeth Anne Pulford on 27 October 1959 in Kingstanding, West Midlands, England, daughter of Robert Pulford, an electrical engineer, and his wife, Margaret Davis.
