The northern New Guinea giant softshell turtle (Pelochelys signifera) is a species of turtle found in the lowlands of northern New Guinea. South of the Central Range it is replaced by the closely related southern New Guinea giant softshell turtle (P. bibroni).
La tortuga gigante de caparazón blando del norte de Nueva Guinea (Pelochelys signifera) es una especie de tortuga del género Pelochelys de la familia Trionychidae. Fue descrita científicamente por Webb en 2003. Distribución Se encuentra en el norte de Nueva Guinea.
