Rock Sparrow

Le Moineau soulcie (Petronia petronia) est une espèce d'oiseaux appartenant à la famille des Passeridae. C'est la seule espèce du genre Petronia d'après la classification de référence (version 2. 2, 2009) du Congrès ornithologique international.

The rock sparrow or rock petronia (Petronia petronia) is a small passerine bird in the sparrow family Passeridae. It is the only species in the genus Petronia. It breeds on barren rocky hills from Madeira and the Canary Islands east through the Iberian Peninsula and western north Africa, across southern Europe and through southwestern and central Asia to Mongolia and the north and west of China.

El gorrión chillón, también llamado gorrión roquero, chirla, chilandre o chilandra​ (Petronia petronia)​ es una especie de ave paseriforme de la familia Passeridae propia de Eurasia y África. Se parece a una hembra de gorrión común debido a su apagado y pálido plumaje. El macho tiene una mancha amarilla en la garganta que en ocasiones pasa desapercibida.
