Phidippus dianthus

Phidippus est un genre d'araignées aranéomorphes de la famille des Salticidae. Distribution Les espèces de ce genre se rencontrent en Amérique et en Asie du Sud. Description Ce genre se caractérise par des chélicères brillantes, d'une iridescence verte, caractéristique partagée avec une araignée des Segestriidae, la Ségestrie florentine, avec laquelle il ne faut pas confondre les espèces de ce genre.

Phidippus is a genus in the family Salticidae (jumping spiders). Some of the largest jumping spiders inhabit this genus, and many species are characterized by their brilliant, iridescent green chelicerae. Phidippus is distributed almost exclusively in North America, with the exception of two exported species (Phidippus audax and Phidippus regius).
