Philophylla caesio is a species of fly in the family Tephritidae, the gall flies. It is found in the Palearctic. The larvae mine the leaves of Urtica.

Philophylla caesio​ ​ es una especie de insecto del género Philophylla de la familia Tephritidae del orden Diptera. Harris la describió científicamente por primera vez en el año 1780.
