Phorcus lineatus, common name the lined top shell, is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Trochidae, the top snails. It is native to shores of the eastern North Atlantic Ocean. Description The size of the shell varies between 10 mm and 35 mm.

Phorcus es un género de molusco gasterópodo marino. Las peonzas son moluscos herbívoros que se alimentan de algas. Su distribución abarca el Mar Mediterráneo y el Océano Atlántico nororiental.
