Wood Warbler

Le Pouillot siffleur (Phylloscopus sibilatrix) est une espèce de passereaux appartenant à la famille des Phylloscopidae. Description Le Pouillot siffleur mesure environ 11 à 13 centimètres de long, a une envergure de 19 à 24 centimètres et pèse de 8 à 13 grammes. Le petit oiseau a un ventre blanc, une gorge jaune et une bande jaune au-dessus des yeux, son dos est vert et sa poitrine est blanc jaunâtre.

The wood warbler (Phylloscopus sibilatrix) is a common and widespread leaf warbler which breeds throughout northern and temperate Europe, and just into the extreme west of Asian Russia in the southern Ural Mountains. It is strongly migratory and the entire population winters in tropical Africa. Taxonomy The wood warbler was described in 1792 by the German naturalist Johann Matthäus Bechstein under the binomial name Motacilla sibillatrix.

El mosquitero silbador (Phylloscopus sibilatrix)​ es una especie de ave paseriforme de la familia Phylloscopidae propia de Eurasia y África. ​ Es un pájaro insectívoro migratorio de canto agradable y comportamiento huidizo. Se trata del mosquitero de mayor tamaño presente en la península ibérica.
