Lupine Ghost Moth

Phymatopus est un genre d'insectes lépidoptères (papillons) de la famille des Hepialidae.

Phymatopus californicus, the lupine ghost moth, is a species of moth belonging to the family Hepialidae. It was described by Jean Baptiste Boisduval in 1868 and is known from the US state of California. The wingspan is about 40 mm.

Phymatopus (originalmente: Noctua Linnaeus, 1758) es un género de mariposas de la familia Hepialidae que cuenta con 500 especies en 30 géneros. El autor del género es Hans Daniel Johan Wallengren, 1869. ​ Se los encuentra en Eurasia y Norteamérica.
