Yellow-billed Magpie

La Pie à bec jaune (Pica nuttalli) est une espèce de passereaux de la famille des Corvidae dont l'aire de répartition se situe uniquement en Californie (États-Unis). Selon la classification de référence du Congrès ornithologique international (version 15. 2, 2026), c'est une espèce monotypique (non subdivisée en sous-espèces).

The yellow-billed magpie (Pica nuttallii), also known as the California magpie, is a bird that is endemic to California's Central Valley and the adjacent chaparral foothills and mountains. Apart from its having a yellow bill and a yellow streak around the eye and being slightly smaller, it is virtually identical to the black-billed magpie (Pica hudsonia) found in much of the rest of western North America. The scientific name commemorates the English naturalist Thomas Nuttall.

La urraca de Nuttall o urraca de pico amarillo (Pica nuttalli)​​ es una especie de ave paseriforme de la familia Corvidae, habita en el valle Central y las colinas y montañas de chaparral adyacentes en el estado estadounidense de California. Aparte de tener el pico y una raya de color amarillo alrededor del ojo, es prácticamente idéntica a la urraca de Hudson (Pica hudsonia) que se distribuye en gran parte del resto de América del Norte. El nombre científico conmemora el naturalista inglés Thomas Nuttall.
