Eastern Rosella

La Perruche omnicolore (Platycercus eximius) est une espèce d'oiseau de la famille des Psittacidae. On la retrouve au sud-est de l'Australie, en Nouvelle-Zélande et en Tasmanie. Description D'une longueur moyenne comprise entre 29 et 33 cm pour une masse de 70 à 100 g, la Perruche omnicolore est, comme son nom l'indique, dotée d'un plumage très coloré.

The eastern rosella (Platycercus eximius) is a parrot native and endemic to south-eastern Australia. It was first introduced to New Zealand in cages, and individuals were subsequently intentionally released or accidentally escaped into the wild. In New Zealand, it is now established in the North Island (notably in the northern half of the island, Taranaki, Waikato and in the Hutt Valley) and in the hills around Dunedin in the South Island.

El perico multicolor o rosella común (Platycercus eximius)​​ una especie de ave psitaciforme de la familia Psittaculidae endémica del sureste de Australia, incluida Tasmania. Fue introducido a Nueva Zelanda donde ha establecido poblaciones estables. Los pericos multicolores machos tiene el plumaje de colores ligeramente más intensos que las hembras.
