Platyptilia est un genre d'insectes de l'ordre des lépidoptères (papillons), de la famille des Pterophoridae.

Platyptilia tesseradactyla is a moth of the family Pterophoridae found in the Palearctic, (including Europe) and North America. It was first described by the Swedish taxonomist, Carl Linnaeus in 1761. Description The wingspan is 17–20 mm.
