Comportement Pomacanthus chrysurus est une espèce de poissons d'eau de mer solitaire vivant sur les récifs côtiers jusqu'à une profondeur d'environ 30 m.

Es una especie generalmente común en su rango de distribución, y con poblaciones estables.
