The lesser woolly horseshoe bat (Rhinolophus beddomei), also called Beddome's horseshoe bat, is a species of bat in the family Rhinolophidae. It is found in India and Sri Lanka. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, caves, and urban areas.
Los murciélagos de herradura del género Rhinolophus, del griego clásico ῥίς (rhís), "nariz", y λόφος (lóphos), "cresta", constituyen el único exponente de la subfamilia Rhinolophinae, nombrada por John Edward Gray (1800 - 1875), en 1825. Especies Rhinolophus acuminatus, Peters, 1871. Rhinolophus adami, Aellen y Brosset, 1968.
