Small Five-toed Jerboa

La Petite gerboise ou Petite jerboa (Scarturus elater) est une espèce de rongeurs de la famille des Dipodidés. Cette gerboise se rencontre sur une large zone allant des environs de la mer Caspienne à la Mongolie et du Kazakhstan au Pakistan. L'espèce n'est pas considérée comme étant en danger par l'Union internationale pour la conservation de la nature (UICN).

The small five-toed jerboa (Scarturus elater) is a rodent of the family Dipodidae and genus Scarturus, that has five digits. They are hopping rodents of the rocky deserts in Asia. They have been found in Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, China, Georgia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkey, and Turkmenistan.
