Festive Parrotfish

Ngulu est un atoll corallien de neuf îles situé à l'ouest des îles Carolines dans l'océan Pacifique. Il appartient aux îles extérieures de Yap. Du point de vue administratif, c'est une municipalité de l'État de Yap, dans les États fédérés de Micronésie.

Scarus festivus, the festive parrotfish, is a species of marine ray-finned fish, a parrotfish in the family Scaridae. This species has a wide Indo-Pacific distribution and is found from the coast of East Africa east as far as the Tuamotu islands and north to the Ryukyu Islands of Japan and south to Lord Howe Island, Australia. This is an uncommon species which is found in clear lagoons and off seaward reefs where it grazes on benthic algae.

Scarus festivus es una especie de peces de la familia Scaridae en el orden de los Perciformes. Morfología • Los machos pueden llegar alcanzar los 45 cm de longitud total. ​ Distribución geográfica Se encuentra desde el África Oriental hasta las Tuamotu e Islas Ryukyu.
