Black Scorpionfish

Le cochon domestique, Sus domesticus, synonyme Sus scrofa domesticus, est un mammifère domestique omnivore de la famille des Suidae (Porcins). Appelé porc (du latin porcus) ou cochon, il est resté proche du sanglier avec lequel il peut se croiser. La viande issue de l'exploitation de cet animal est la plus consommée dans le monde même si la consommer fait l'objet d'un interdit alimentaire dans certaines religions monothéistes : le judaïsme, l'islam et trois églises chrétiennes : l'adventisme, l'Église orthodoxe éthiopienne et l'Église kimbanguiste.

The black scorpionfish (Scorpaena porcus), also known as the European scorpionfish or small-scaled scorpionfish, is a venomous scorpionfish, common in marine subtropical waters. It is widespread in the eastern Atlantic Ocean from the British Isles to the Azores and Canary Islands, near the coasts of Morocco, and in the Mediterranean Sea and the Black Sea. Taxonomy The black scorpionfish was first formally described in 1758 by Carl Linnaeus in the 10th edition of his Systema Naturae in which he gave the type localities as the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean.

Scorpaena scrofa (también denominado escórpora, escorpena, cabracho, escorpión rojo, gallineta, rascasote, rascasa, rascacio y cantarero)​​ es un pez de la familia scorpaenidae de color rojo y cubierto de espinas. Los radios espinosos están conectados a glándulas venenosas que pueden provocar un gran dolor, inflamación e incluso fiebre. Su peso puede llegar hasta casi los 3 kg pero son raros los ejemplares de más de 1,5-2 kg.
