Le Sébaste à bandes rouges (Sebastes babcocki) est une espèce de poisson osseux de la famille des Scorpaénidés. Il fait partie des espèces que caractérise leur sénescence négligeable : il peut vivre ainsi jusqu'à 106 ans. Ce poisson atteint jusqu'à 64 centimètres de longueur.

The redbanded rockfish (Sebastes babcocki), also known as the bandit, barber pole, flag rockfish, Spanish flag, Hollywood, convict, and canary, is a species of marine ray-finned fish belonging to the subfamily Sebastinae, the rockfishes, part of the family Scorpaenidae. It is found in the northern Pacific Ocean. Taxonomy The redbanded rockfish was first formally described as Sebastodes babcocki in 1915 by the American ichthyologist William Francis Thompson with the type locality given as Middleton Island, Alaska.
