Bumblebee Hummingbird

Le Colibri héloïse (Selasphorus heloisa) ou Colibri à bec court (notamment au Canada), est une espèce d'oiseaux de la famille des Trochilidae, native de la cordillère mexicaine. Le nom de l'oiseau commémore Héloïse (1101-1164) célèbre pour sa correspondance avec Abelard. Description Cet oiseau mesure jusqu'à 7,5 cm.

The bumblebee hummingbird (Selasphorus heloisa) is a species of hummingbird in tribe Mellisugini of subfamily Trochilinae, the "bee hummingbirds". It is endemic to Mexico, but has occurred as a vagrant in the United States. Taxonomy and systematics The International Ornithological Committee (IOC), the North American Classification Committee of the American Ornithological Society, and the Clements taxonomy place the bumblebee hummingbird in genus Selasphorus.

El colibrí de Eloísa​ (Selasphorus heloisa) también conocido como colibrí de Heloise o zumbador mexicano,​ es una especie de ave apodiforme de la familia Trochilidae —los colibríes— perteneciente al género Selasphorus, anteriormente situada en el género Atthis. Es endémico de México. Distribución y hábitat Se distribuye por las tierras altas de México al norte del Istmo de Tehuantepec.
