Blue-spotted Spinefoot

Le Sigan corail (Siganus corallinus) est une espèce de poissons marins, originaire de l'océan Indien oriental.

The blue-spotted spinefoot (Siganus corallinus), the coral rabbitfish, coral spinefoot, ocellated spinefoot or orange spinefoot is a species of marine ray-finned fish, a rabbitfish belonging to the family Siganidae. It is found in the Indo-Pacific where it is often caught as a food fish and occasionally as an aquarium fish. Taxonomy The blue-spotted spinefoot was first formally described in 1835 as Amphacanthus corallinus by the French zoologist Achille Valenciennes with the type localities given as the Seychelles and Java.

Siganus corallinus es una especie de peces marinos de la familia Siganidae, orden Perciformes, suborden Acanthuroidei. Su nombre común es sigano coral, y el más común en inglés es Coral rabbitfish,​ o pez conejo coral. Morfología El cuerpo de los Siganidos es medianamente alto, muy comprimido lateralmente.
