Quebec Emerald

The Quebec Emerald or Robert's Emerald (Somatochlora brevicincta) is a species of dragonfly in the family Corduliidae. It is one of the 42 species within the genus Somatochlora found in the Northern Hemisphere. It is one of the rarest Odonata species in Canada and among the most recently described.
