Le terme perroquet (/pɛ. ʁɔ. kɛ/) est un nom vernaculaire désignant plusieurs espèces d'oiseaux psittaciformes ayant généralement un gros bec crochu, des couleurs vives et qui sont parfois capables d’utiliser la parole humaine.
Parrotfish (named because their mouths resemble a parrot's beak) are a clade of fish placed in the subfamily Scarinae of the wrasse family (Labridae). Historically considered as the family Scaridae, genetic studies found them to be deeply nested within the wrasses, and they are now treated as a subfamily. With roughly 95 species, the group's largest species richness is in the Indo-Pacific.
La vieja colorada (Sparisoma cretense) es una especie de pez del género Sparisoma de la familia Scaridae. Morfología Presentan cuerpo ovalado, cabeza cónica y la parte anterior redondeada. Su mandíbula es de pequeñas dimensiones con dientes fuertes.
