Sphinx gordius est une espèce de lépidoptères (papillons) de la famille des Sphingidae, de la sous-famille des Sphinginae et de la tribu des Sphingini. Description L'envergure varie de 68 à 108 mm. L'espèce est étroitement apparentée à Sphinx poecila.
Sphinx luscitiosa, or Clemens' hawkmoth, is a moth of the family Sphingidae. The species was first described by James Brackenridge Clemens in 1859. It is found in North America from Nova Scotia south to New Jersey, west through Michigan, Wisconsin and the northern plains to Alberta, Saskatchewan and Montana and south to Utah.
Sphinx es un género de lepidópteros nocturnos de la familia Sphingidae. Fue descrito por Carl Linnaeus en su décima edición del Systema naturæ, de 1758. La mayoría de las especies del género habitan en América, principalmente el Neártico, pero también en el Paleártico.
