Les Psychidae sont une famille de lépidoptères (papillons) appelés communément psychés. Les chenilles de Psychidae construisent un fourreau de soie et d'éléments prélevés dans l'environnement. Chez de nombreuses espèces, la femelle est aptère, et est de fait difficile à identifier avec précision.

Sterrhopterix fusca is a moth of the Psychidae family. It is found from England through central Europe, east to Russia, north to Fennoscandia, the Baltic States and Karelia. The southern limit of its range ranges from northern Italy to Romania.
