Strigamia maritima is a soil centipede in the subfamily Linotaeniinae, a clade formerly known as the family Linotaeniidae, but now deemed a subfamily within the family Geophilidae. This centipede is the most common of the four fully coastal geophilomorph species known in the British Isles. Description In general, Strigamia maritima is the only member of its genus known to occur on the sea shore.
