Spotted Owl (Mexican)

La Chouette tachetée (Strix occidentalis) est une espèce de chouette. Description Cette chouette a une longueur de 43 cm, une envergure de 114 cm, et un poids d'environ 600 g. Ses œufs font un peu plus de 50 millimètres de long, sont de couleur blanche, lisses et avec une texture légèrement granuleuse.

The spotted owl (Strix occidentalis) is a species of true owl. It is a resident species of old-growth forests in western North America, where it nests in tree hollows, old bird of prey nests, or rock crevices. Nests can be between 12 and 60 metres (40 and 200 ft) from the ground, and usually contain two eggs (though some contain as many as four).

Existen muchas clases de búhos las cuales habitan en casi todos los lugares del planeta. Su hábitat son los árboles, praderas, rocas y zonas no habitadas. Se alimentan de otros animales vivos como: peces, insectos, ratones, lagartijas, etcétera.
