Hamadryad

In Greek mythology, a Hamadryad or Hamadryas (; Ancient Greek: ἁμαδρυάς, pl: ἁμαδρυάδες, romanized: Hamadryás, pl: Hamadryádes) is a tree nymph. They are born bonded to a certain tree on which their life depends. Some maintain that a Hamadryad is the tree itself, with a normal dryad being simply the indwelling entity, or spirit, of the tree.

Les Tellervini forment une tribu de lépidoptères (papillons) appartenant à la famille des Nymphalidae, sous-famille des Danainae qui ne comprend qu'un seul genre Tellervo Kirby, 1894 comprenant six espèces résidant en Australasie. Dénomination La tribu des Tellervini est décrite en 1910 par l'entomologiste allemand Hans Fruhstorfer (1866-1922). Le genre Tellervo est décrit en 1894 par l'entomologiste anglais William Forsell Kirby (1844-1912).
