La naranja de mar (Tethya aurantium) es una especie de demosponja de la familia Tethyidae. ​ Descripción Es de forma esférica, frecuentemente recubierta de pequeñas gémulas pedunculadas y con la corteza y el esqueleto claramente radial. ​ Su coloración es naranja o pardusca.
