Thecla myrtea

Enos is a genus of gossamer-winged butterflies (family Lycaenidae). Among these, it belongs to the tribe Eumaeini of the subfamily Theclinae. These small butterflies occur essentially all over the Neotropics.

Enos myrtea est une espèce de lépidoptères (papillons) de la famille des Lycaenidae, sous-famille des Theclinae et du genre Enos. Dénomination Enos myrtea a été décrit par William Chapman Hewitson en 1867, sous le nom initial de Thecla myrtea. Nom vernaculaire Enos myrtea se nomme Myrtea Hairstreak en anglais.
