Wallcreeper

Le Tichodrome échelette (Tichodroma muraria), seul représentant du genre Tichodroma et de la famille des Tichodromidés, est une espèce de passereaux, vivant essentiellement en altitude dans les massifs montagneux d'Europe et d'Asie. C'est une espèce paléomontagnarde strictement paléarctique, sans équivalent dans le reste du monde. L'espèce nominale vit en Europe et en Asie occidentale, jusqu'en Iran.

The wallcreeper (Tichodroma muraria) is a small passerine bird found throughout the high mountains of the Palearctic from southern Europe to central China. It is the only extant member of both the genus Tichodroma and the family Tichodromidae. El treparriscos, arañero o pájaro arañero (Tichodroma muraria) es un ave que se distribuye por la alta montaña de Eurasia,​ incluyendo los Pirineos, los Alpes y las montañas del Altái. Es el único miembro del género Tichodromae y de la familia Tichodromadidae (Del Hoyo et al. 2007).
