Tropidophis stejnegeri, also known commonly as Stejneger's dwarf boa and the Jamaican eyespot trope, is a small species of snake in the family Tropidophiidae (dwarf boas). The species is endemic to the northern half of Jamaica. Etymology The specific name, stejnegeri, is in honor of Norwegian-born, American herpetologist Leonhard Stejneger.

Tropidophis, del griego clásico τροπίς (tropís), "cresta", y ὄφις (óphis), "serpiente" es un género de serpientes que pertenecen a la familia Tropidophiidae. Se distribuyen por Sudamérica y las Antillas. Se trata de serpientes de entre 30 y 60 centímetros, según la especie, terrestres, que viven en la selva.
