Trosia dimas, the rosy ermine, is a moth in the family Megalopygidae. It is found in Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Brazil, and Peru. Taxonomy The first description of this species was by Pieter Cramer in 1775, who named it Bombyx dimas.
