Mistle Thrush

La Grive draine (ou drenne) (Turdus viscivorus) est une espèce de passereaux appartenant à la famille des Turdidae. Dénomination L'origine du nom de la grive draine est mal connue. Son orthographe actuelle s'est imposée vers la fin du 19e siècle ; l'orthographe « drenne » était alors une alternative courante.

The mistle thrush (Turdus viscivorus) is a bird common to much of Europe, temperate Asia and North Africa. It is a year-round resident in a large part of its range, but northern and eastern populations migrate south for the winter, often in small flocks. It is a large thrush with pale grey-brown upper parts, a greyish-white chin and throat, and black spots on its pale yellow and off-white under parts.

El zorzal charlo, cuyo nombre científico es Turdus viscivorus, es un ave del orden Passeriformes y de la familia Turdidae. Propio de Europa y parte de Asia, fue descrito por Linneo en 1758. ​ En cuanto a su taxonomía, los estudios moleculares sugieren un mayor parentesco a especies como T.
