Southern Broken Dash

Wallengrenia est un genre de lépidoptères (papillons) américains de la famille des Hesperiidae. Taxonomie Le genre Wallengrenia a été décrit en 1897 par l'entomologiste argentin Carlos Berg (1843-1902). Son espèce type est Hesperia premnas Wallengren, 1860.

Wallengrenia otho, the southern broken dash or broken dash skipper, is a butterfly of the family Hesperiidae. It was originally described by Smith in 1797. It is found from eastern Texas and the southeastern United States, south through the West Indies and Central America to Argentina.
