Xylophanes loelia

Xylophanes loelia est une espèce de lépidoptères de la famille des Sphingidae, de la sous-famille des Macroglossinae, tribu des Macroglossini, sous-tribu des Choerocampina, et du genre Xylophanes. Description L'envergure varie autour de 72 mm. L’aspect de l'imago est intermédiaire entre Xylophanes libya et Xylophanes neoptolemus.

Xylophanes loelia is a moth of the family Sphingidae first described by Herbert Druce in 1878. Distribution It is found from south-western Belize to Costa Rica and Panama to Peru, Bolivia and Argentina. It is possibly also present in Paraguay.
