Rufous-capped Motmot

The rufous-capped motmot (Baryphthengus ruficapillus) is a species of bird in the family Momotidae. It is found in Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay. Taxonomy and systematics The rufous-capped motmot and rufous motmot (Baryphtengus martii) are the only two species in their genus, and have sometimes been treated as conspecific.

Le Motmot oranroux (Baryphthengus ruficapillus) est une espèce d'oiseaux de la famille des Momotidae. Selon la classification de référence du Congrès ornithologique international (version 15. 2, 2026), c'est une espèce monotypique (non subdivisée en sous-espèces).

El momoto yeruvá oriental​ (Baryphthengus ruficapillus), también denominado yeruvá (Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay), burgo rojizo o taragón rojizo,​ es una especie de ave coraciforme de la familia Momotidae. Es una de las dos especies que integran el género Baryphthengus. Se distribuye en las selvas del este de América del Sur.
