Lau Banded Iguana

Brachylophus fasciatus, l'Iguane des Fidji, est une espèce de sauriens de la famille des Iguanidae. Répartition Cette espèce se rencontre aux Fidji, aux Tonga, à Wallis et au Vanuatu. Brachylophus fasciatus, the Lau banded iguana, is an arboreal species of lizard endemic to the Lau Islands of the eastern part of the Fijian archipelago. It is also found in Tonga, where it was probably introduced by humans. It is one of the few species of iguanas found outside of the New World and one of the most geographically isolated members of the family Iguanidae.

La iguana bandeada de Fiyi (Brachylophus fasciatus) es una especie de iguánido endémico de Fiyi e introducido en Tonga y otras islas cercanas del Pacífico. Este animal es el símbolo incluido en el escudo nacional de Fiyi. Está en peligro de extinción y es CITES 1.
