Le Harfang des neiges (Bubo scandiacus) est une espèce d'oiseaux de la famille des strigidés. Il est aussi appelé ukpik par les Inuits. Il est l'emblème aviaire du Québec depuis 1987.
The snowy owl (Bubo scandiacus), also known as the polar owl, the white owl and the Arctic owl, is a large, white owl of the true owl family. Snowy owls are native to the Arctic regions of both North America and the Palearctic, breeding mostly on the tundra. It has a number of unique adaptations to its habitat and lifestyle, which are quite distinct from other extant owls.
El búho nival (Bubo scandiacus)es una especie de ave estrigiforme de la familia Strigidae. En Estados Unidos se le conoce también como búho de las nieves, búho del Ártico o el gran búho blanco. Es un búho bastante reconocible que habita la tundra de Asia, Norteamérica y Europa.
