Sanje River Mangabey

Cercocebus est un genre de Primates de la famille des Cercopithecidae. Ces espèces sont appelées cercocèbes ou mangabeys. Classification Liste des espèces actuelles selon ITIS et la troisième édition de Mammal Species of the World de 2005: Cercocebus agilis A.

The Sanje mangabey (Cercocebus sanjei) is a highly endangered Old World monkey of the white-eyelid mangabey group from the Eastern Arc Mountains in Tanzania. They are about 50–65 centimetres (20–26 in) in length, excluding the tail, and their body colour is greyish. Fruit makes up about 70% of their diet.

El mangabey del río Sanje (Cercocebus sanjei) es una especie de primate catarrino perteneciente a la familia Cercopithecidae que habita en Tanzania. ​ Tiene cerca de 50 a 65 centímetros de longitud, excluyendo la cola, y pesa de 7 a 9 kilogramos. ​ Su color corporal es grisáceo y vive en valles boscosos.
